Derrill's Race 5/04/08

 

The 5th Annual “Derrill’s Race” will be held Sunday, May 4, 2008 on the Manhan Rail Trail in Easthampton. This 5K Run/Walk charity race has grown to attract over 420 runners and walkers, making it a wonderful community event.

Derrill’s Race was co-founded and sponsored by Wellness Within Chiropractic and the Easthampton Police Association. It is made possible through the continued support of area businesses and individuals.

New Hire/Promotion Announced 01/19/07

The Easthampton Police Department is pleased to announce the promotion of Steven Burgielewicz to the rank of Detective. Detective Burgielewicz has been a Police Officer in Easthampton for over 15 years.  The Easthampton Police Department is also pleased to announce the hire of Chad Alexander to the Easthampton Police Department. Officer Alexander previously had been working as a part-time officer and dispatcher for Easthampton. Officer Alexander will be assigned to the 12-8 shift.   

 

 

New Promotion announced 07/28/06

The Easthampton Police Department is pleased to announce the promotion of William Mielke to the rank of Detective. Detective Mielke has been a Police Officer in Easthampton for over 10 years. Detective Mielke will be assigned to work days in the Detective Bureau. 

Easthampton Police Association to Launch Fund Drive

The Easthampton Police Association will be conducting a three week long telemarketing fund raising drive .The tentative date to start this drive is April 9th  2006.  The hours of the telephoning will be from 9 AM to 8 PM. TCI America of Seekonk Ma has again been contracted to represent the Easthampton Police Association. Any questions, comments, or concerns should directed to Det. Sgt. Mark Popielarczyk, Sgt. William Kelly, Det. Robert Alberti, and Officer Steven Burgielewicz. All can be reached by contacting the Easthampton Police Dept. at 527-1212. All funds raised during this drive help provide financial assistance to numerous agencies and organizations, primarily focusing upon youth activities and sports throughout the city. No cash donations, Please.  Easthampton Police Association contributes to the following:
