Military Equipment

ARV’s, or armored rescue vehicles, are probably the closest thing the police have to military equipment. These vehicles are essentially tanks and are capable of some amazing feats. Though typically being associated with SWAT teams more and more regular departments are adding these to their repertoire.

These ARV’s are a para-military equipment design dressed down from models of military tanks. They are used tactically for insertions, maneuvers, and for helping officers who have become pinned down. Their practical use has been extraordinary since their invention.

Before the ARV became a standard part of SWAT and military equipment, local law enforcement office’s often created their own makeshift ARV’s out of busses and trucks. However they are created or used, they sure do pack a punch. They have been aiding law enforcement in countless melees’ for most of the last fifty years.
